Angela Wallace
Co-Founder, Good Wares
Angela has worked with consumer packaged goods (CPG) brands since 2015, in retail and distribution in Canada, the USA, and beyond. She was the recipient of the Trailblazer Award 2024 from PARO Centre - recognizing her entrepreneurial impact and success in an historically male-dominated industry. She was selected as a Canadian Delegate for the G20 Youth Entrepreneurship Alliance summits in 2021 and 2022, bringing together hundreds of the world’s top young entrepreneurs to share powerful policy platforms with G20 leaders to catalyze global change.
Previously, Angela led 80 partnerships as Director of Brands at a Distributor voted in 2018 in the top ten global social impact businesses, by Real Leaders, with B lab. She has concentrated her brand partnerships in the arena of sustainability and championed women owned companies by driving growth across key channels of trade. She lives with her eleven year old daughter in Toronto.


Heather Hird
Co-Founder, Good Wares
Heather Hird is a seasoned sales and marketing strategist with over 20 years of experience helping brands grow smarter and faster. She has worked with national retailers, led collaborations with multimillion-dollar companies, and driven year-over-year growth of up to 300% for emerging consumer brands. Her expertise spans fashion, home goods, lifestyle, beauty, and wellness—making her uniquely positioned to guide founders through the complexities of scaling.
Heather’s perspective comes not only from corporate leadership but also from the founder’s seat. She built her own handmade leather goods brand from the ground up, managing everything from product design to wholesale expansion, giving her firsthand insight into the entrepreneurial journey. She now brings that dual experience to Good Wares, where she combines strategic foresight with operational know-how to help brands establish strong retailer relationships, optimize systems, and expand with confidence.
